What’s So Funny at Yahoo!

New Yahoo! TV–ConAgra show helps viewers keep up with the laughs

Conagra What's so Funny websiteWith broadcast, cable and Internet, there are so many funny TV programs out there that it’s hard for viewers to keep up with all the laughs.

That’s why Yahoo! teamed with ConAgra Foods—one of North America’s leading food brands—to develop “What’s So Funny?” This online original on Yahoo! TV, hosted by comedic actors Michael Bachmann and Shira Lazar, provides a daily recap of the funniest moments from the previous night’s TV lineup. Michael and Shira will ask viewers to vote on the best-of-the-best segments, which will appear on the show’s weekend edition. “What’s So Funny?” premiers Monday, November 16.

Programming for “What’s So Funny” was created in partnership with ConAgra Foods and the company’s media buying agency of record, MediaCom. For the project, Yahoo! TV created a custom site. Each “What’s So Funny” episode will feature a ConAgra Foods branded segment that incorporates messaging for such ConAgra brands as Marie Callender’s and Orville Redenbacher. The commitment between Yahoo! and ConAgra is set for one year.

“Through this partnership with Yahoo!, we’re getting our message out to consumers in a fresh way, every day, through original content,” notes Brett Groom, Vice President, Media, Social and Digital Marketing, for ConAgra Foods.

“Yahoo! continues to expand its portfolio of branded entertainment programming, allowing brands to connect with our audience in unique and meaningful ways,” says Erika Nardini, VP of Brand Packaging at Yahoo!

Sometimes the best way to get a message across is through laughter. In other words, the mantra for “What’s So Funny,” Yahoo! TV and ConAgra Foods is: “Make ‘em laugh, make ‘em laugh, make ‘em laugh!”
